Question:
How do I run Windows Live Messenger (MSN chat)?
2009-06-11 19:34:44 UTC
I cannot find Windows Live Messenger/MSN chat ANYWHERE on my computer - I've searched through my program folders and task bar, but nothing. I have Windows Vista.

Can anyone tell me the Run:/ command for this? Everytime I want to download this program, my computer tells me I already have it!

Thank you so much for your help!

On your start menu, go to search and put Windows Live. Once you find the folder (should be in "program files"), open it and find the "Messenger" folder. Once you are in the messenger folder, find "msnmsgr" and double click it. That should be your MSN messenger.

A lot of people seem to use Wine (acronym for Wine Is Not an Emulator, strange I know) which allows people to run Windows programs on a Mac. While it doesn't work for every program, it'll definitely work for the programs you just listed now.
