can not install MSN web messanger because of pop up blocker?

Question

i am trying to install messanger but when i try, i a sign comes out saying:

"pop up blocker detected: to use web messanger, your web browser must allow pop up windows, see the instructions for your pop up blockinf software"

now i already went to tools and turned my pop up blocker off. i also tried leaving it on and adding the web address to the list of things that should not be blocked, and still i get the same message

can someone please tell me what i should be doing so that i can successfully install messanger? thank u :)

maybe you have 2 pop up blockers, one is the IE one and the other maybe on that comes with your antivirus, google -, msn -, or yahoo toolbar

so look for it there
