Question:
MSN messenger security update?
2009-09-09 08:51:18 UTC
I've just received an e-mail from communications_msn_cs_enuk@microsoft.windowslive.com telling me that I need to update my Messenger because the Windows Live Messenger team have discovered an important security issue. The e-mail looks genuine, but I noticed the sender is 'unknown' according to my Hotmail inbox, and surely it would be a known sender if it came from MSN itself?
So, is this update real or should I be careful?

communications@microsoft.windowslive.com

it takes to the microsoft web from where you can ge the last security patch (update)

Please substitute the password of your hotmail or abode windows stay or msn account. once you adjust your password, each and every thing will with any luck return to ordinary and this subject which you're having would be solved. I had this type of subject in December, 2008 as quickly as I upgraded my abode windows stay Messenger from the version 8.5 to the version 2009, so I replaced the password of my hotmail or abode windows stay or msn account and then the priority i became having with the abode windows stay Messenger became solved.

No that is fake, they would use a proper account, or notify you in a more suitable way, don't trust it, anyway what version of msn do you have?
