Very easy fix there ;)

Download this:

http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/W/winhttp.dll/5.1.2600.2180/download.html

Click on:

Now, go to this:

C:\WINDOWS\system32

(Start > My Computer > Windows > System32)

Put the DLL file in there.

Now install the MSN again =]

Should be fixed!

If it STILL doesn't work, make sure your DLL file is in the path I showed you, and do this.

Go to Start > Run.

Type in CMD. A black box will come up.

Type in:

type regsvr32 WINHTTP.dll

and press enter.

That should be fixed now! good luck!

Did you attempt it one yet another pc it is likewise related on an identical lan as you're? And did you ask your isp in the event that they're blocking off your msn port? There is often anti-virus that blocks your msn.

to uninstall msn from Windows vista you have to go click the start button.then go on control panel. then look for programs and Click on it. than click on programs and features. then uninstall a program. look for windows live Essentials. a small screen is going to pop up. click continue and than after that another screen will pop up. Click uninstall. then select the programs you want to uninstall. hope this helps
