ive just download msn to my macbook.
one thing i had on my pc that im now missing is tabbed chats. so its all in the one window. can i do this with my mac? how?

ALSO:

when you have more than one window open, to switch between chat boxes is clicking the only option? is there a keyboard shortcut for this? thanks.

You can't use tabbed chats in mac on the standard msn messenger.

However, amsn is a good alternative:



www.amsn-project.net



More features are available for msn than the standard messenger.

However, you can use command and ~ to switch between windows. This applies to other programs such as safari, iWork, Finder, etc.



command + tab between programs, command + ~ between windows of a program. If you cant find it - its above the left-hand tab button :D

aMSN is a way to use tabbed chats and webcams etc but isn't great. If you don't need webcams then use Adium, its highly customisable and allows tabbed chats. With adium you can even change the message sounds, dock icon and pretty much everything else.






