In my options it says that my convos will be saved in a selected folder, and everything is checked in the right boxes, but my convos still aren't saving. They used to save, but haven't been for about a month. Anyone know why?

hey

→firstly you have to enable the option 'save history'

log on MSN

go to 'tools'

'options'

'messages' tab

tick the 'save history' option

apply/ok

→then it will be stored here

C:/

my documents

my received files

folder with your account's name

history

the convos are stored in one folder for each contact

→in case you are using the add on PLUS

log on MSN

click on the 'PLUS' icon

then on 'preferences'

'conversations

enable the option 'save history'

apply/ok

→it will be saved here

C:/

my documents

my chat logs

the convos are stored in one folder for each contact

→to read your conversation history from MSN go to

'file'

'open message history'

❣remember that you have a limited space for each contact history, so in case an alert pops up asking you if you want to store older conversations you have to click on YES and save them. If you don't do that the new convos will overwrite the old ones

❣NOTE

in case you did not enable the 'save history' option your conversations were not stored

A software can do that, you can try it's free trail. It monitors all the msn messages and you can make some settings to auto-save those messages to local disk. You can download it at http://www.colasoft.com/download/products/download_capsa.php?prid=0608
