Question:
I keep getting an error message for IE8. The error is a Debug Assertion Failed message? Any idea's?

After I hit the debug button the program crashes, if I hit the ignore button the program crashes....this is getting really frustrating....can someone please help me???

Not much you can do at your end. The problem is that something happened that IE8 wasn't programmed to handle, so the "Debug Assertion" was activated and IE8 quit. If the message give you the option of notifying Microsoft, take it. On their own products someone may actually look at the reports.



If you can identify what you're doing or what site you're going to that seems to be causing the problem, about all I can recommend is, as comedian Buddy Hackett once quipped, "Then don't do that."

Asusming your utilizing internet Explorer...open procedures > internet Optins and click the more advantageous tab. below the surfing section you could verify the container next to Disable Script Debugging (internet Explorer). You made to close teh browser and re-open it for teh putting to take effect

I would just download another browser or get someone else to download a copy

In the past I have spent hours trying to get IE to work and it really isn't worth the effort

Mozilla Firefox will import all your IE favorites and setting and is probably more reliable anyway
