Will renaming my hotmail id to outlook.com, affect the Storage capacity of my Skydrive (Now It has 25GB free space) will it change to 7GB, after Renaming..
And will my Emails get deleted..

no this will not deleted your files and your data storage. your emails will be stored into anther folder and your new outlook mail will come in the regular inbox. skydrive and other Microsoft service will take a few days to port over to the outlook but rest assure that all your data will be kept in tack along with with your 25GB.

Your SkyDrive data is attached to your Account and not just the email address. So, nothing will change for you even though you could face other problems like the ones mentioned here:

you would still have the 25 gb skydrive

and your emails wont be deleted

they would just be moved to the outlook email

and you also got skype integration in the outlook

and also are you happy with the new outlook design?ads?and everything?
