Myself and two friends share use of an email account to organise a weekly basketball game. We take it in turns to send out group emails from the account but occasionally we get locked out. Outlook realises that we are accessing the email account from different locations and assumes that it is being hacked. Then we have to wait for the account to be verified before we can use it again.

Is there some option that we can tick that says "this is a shared account" or "allow this account to be accessed from multiple locations at the same time"?

Thanks for your help.

That is a terrible way to work. You are better to use ONE email for each of you. If you use them only for that, you can then set up forwarding on one account to the other. Then add the replyto address of the main account to all emails sent.

Hotmail was one of the first we based email services, long before gmail.

It's simple. You can try out www.mail4group.com/x/rf .

There you can easily create a group account and invite all your friends to your mail group by sending them e-mail or facebook invitations. Everyone is login in by his/her address e-mail but you use one shared e-mail address to communicate in group. It's really simple and is working pretty good.

Our friends group is using it for almost year. :)

Hope this is what you're seeking for.
